Product Owner with German (f/m)

What you will do

• Own and manage assigned business-critical IT products throughout implementation, operation, upgrades, replacement, decommissioning, and retirement.
• Drive product governance, documentation, operational readiness, and EoM/EoL management.
• Support ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Capacity Management.
• Coordinate patching, maintenance, backup, recovery, and service continuity measures.
• Translate business needs into product requirements, align priorities, and drive product-related decisions.
• Manage vendors, licensing, contracts, third-party dependencies, and cross-product impacts with security, risk, compliance, procurement, product owners, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Application Owner, IT Product Responsible, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Lifecycle Management.
• Proven experience managing products throughout the full product lifecycle.
• Good understanding of IT operations, technical maintenance, capacity planning, and service continuity.
• Knowledge of information security, risk management, governance, and compliance principles.
• Experience working with a broad range of business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into product solutions.
• Communicative German at minimum B2 level is required. Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with data, analytics, or cloud-based products such as Azure, Power BI, or Databricks.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
