Intern Capital Origination | Energy Transition

Location: Hybrid, Utrecht, Netherlands; candidates must be enrolled at a Dutch university and live in the Netherlands.

Salary: €600 gross per month based on a 36-hour week.

What you will do

• Research markets and sub-sectors across the energy transition value chain.
• Analyse information and contribute to client presentations by presenting insights clearly.
• Support strategic capital ideas and dialogue with European clients in Energy Transition & Circularity and Transport & Mobility.
• Collaborate with Client Coverage, RaboResearch, product departments, and hirify.global’s European branches.
• Develop practical financial analysis, market research, presentation, and investment banking skills.

Requirements

• Be a master’s student or third-year bachelor’s student enrolled in a Dutch university and living in the Netherlands.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good command of English.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, eager to learn, and able to take ownership of work.
• Availability for a 3- to 4-month internship starting either in early 2027 or in April or May 2027 and continuing until the summer break. The preferred starting period and availability must be stated in the application letter.
