Intern IT Technician (6-months contract)

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine. Office-based work.

What you will do

• Provide on-site and remote support to local end users and manage incidents and service requests.
• Provision and maintain employees’ work environments, including PCs, laptops, and workplace equipment.
• Maintain local meeting room configurations and provide hardware support for onsite events and meetings.
• Support employees during equipment moves and maintain the IT asset inventory.
• Apply approved security practices, best practices, and IT policies.

Requirements

• Good customer service, listening, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Good dexterity and ability to perform manual work.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment and autonomously.
• Expertise in PC and laptop support and awareness of current hardware developments.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Good knowledge of networking and cabling.
• Basic understanding of SCCM, Intune, and Active Directory, including Azure and on-premises environments.

Nice to have

• Relevant education in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of conferencing and multimedia equipment.
• Scripting ability, including batch files and PowerShell.
• Linux or macOS knowledge.
• Knowledge of ITIL methodologies.
