AI Consultant

Location: Australia

Salary: AUD 100,000–110,000 per annum

What you will do

• Identify and prioritise AI opportunities that deliver measurable business value and improve operational efficiency.
• Translate complex business challenges into practical AI use cases, strategies, and actionable implementation roadmaps.
• Lead AI discovery sessions and workshops with customers, executives, and key stakeholders.
• Drive AI adoption by building understanding, confidence, and practical capability across client organisations.
• Advise customers on AI strategy, governance, risk, ethics, and responsible AI practices.
• Design and recommend fit-for-purpose AI solutions using leading platforms and technologies, including OpenAI and Anthropic, while collaborating with technical, delivery, and consulting teams.

Requirements

• Experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, AI advisory, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of generative AI and leading AI platforms, ideally including OpenAI and/or Anthropic.
• Ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly and confidently to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience facilitating workshops, running discovery sessions, and engaging stakeholders across different organisational levels.
• Confidence advising customers on AI strategy, governance, ethics, risk, and responsible adoption.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance innovation with practical business needs and measurable outcomes.
• Proactive, self-directed approach with the confidence to take ownership and operate independently.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to earn trust and influence decision-makers.
• Passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and staying current in the rapidly evolving AI field.
