Lead Software Engineer (Fullstack)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate accessible web applications, backend services, APIs, integrations, and data-access components.
• Guide architecture decisions and maintain security, reliability, observability, maintainability, and long-term solution coherence.
• Accept user stories and estimates, facilitate delivery decisions, remove impediments, and coordinate dependencies across squads and technical functions.
• Ensure delivery meets acceptance criteria, engineering standards, and the Definition of Done.
• Establish API and service contracts, versioning, integration tests, and dependency ownership across domain boundaries.
• Lead code and design reviews, improve automated testing, and partner with DevSecOps on CI/CD, cloud environments, monitoring, secrets, identity, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including technical leadership of products or delivery teams.
• Strong full-stack capability with depth in modern frontend development and backend service or API development.
• Practical experience designing and operating cloud-based, distributed applications.
• Strong understanding of architecture, domain boundaries, API design, data integrity, security, and observability.
• Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and CI/CD delivery practices.
• Experience working in Agile product teams and translating business needs into implementable technical solutions.
• Ability to make pragmatic trade-offs, communicate decisions clearly, and lead through influence.
• Professional fluency in English and confidence working with internationally distributed colleagues.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Experience with TypeScript, VueJS, Node.js, .NET, SQL, REST, GraphQL, or comparable modern technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, containers, and application monitoring.
• Knowledge of B2B SaaS, sustainability, supply chains, chemical data, assessment, or compliance platforms.
• Experience using governed AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and quality.
