Sr Data Analytics Engineer (Data Modeling) - Remote

Location: Remote, anywhere; travel less than 5%; general office environment and occasional ability to move about an office required.

Salary: $98,500–$147,800 per year depending on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience; eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns that improve customer insight, performance, engagement, retention, revenue, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with business, management, executive, and leadership teams to define metrics, formulate hypotheses, and design research supporting key performance indicators.
• Design data architecture and integrity constraints with data infrastructure engineers to support collection pipelines and analytics infrastructure.
• Design, develop, deploy, manage, and monitor self-service BI reports, cubes, and dashboards.
• Use data modeling, ETL architecture, report design, and BI expertise to support department initiatives.
• Produce detailed technical documentation, including data flow, logical, and physical diagrams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in technology, analytics, or Business Intelligence.
• Experience designing, developing, deploying, and enhancing high-visibility computer programs, analytics, dashboards, and reports.
• Ability to rapidly prototype and deploy stable, maintainable BI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of distributed computing, data warehousing, data mining, business analytics, software development, data structures, data analysis, replication, and distributed and relational data/database mapping.
• Significant experience with modern data analytics infrastructure such as MS SQL Server, SSIS/SSRS, Tableau, SPSS, TM1, Netezza, Oracle, OBIEE, or Financials.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, data warehouses, RDBMS, and common BI tools and techniques.
• Significant experience working with very large datasets and performing product- and business-level analysis.
• Strong computer science, statistics, and mathematics background; analytical thinking and the ability to use data to answer questions.
• Ability to handle responsibility, collaborate, and work effectively in a fast-paced small-team environment; ability to perform the job safely according to standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Master of Science, Master of Business, or advanced certifications.
• Hands-on experience with data-related programming and other high-level languages.
