Associate, Treasury (Renewable Energy)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States; hybrid work required with a minimum of 3 days per week in the Salt Lake City office. Ability to travel up to 25%. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

What you will do

• Own the rolling 180-day liquidity forecast and weekly 13-week cash flow process, including scenario modeling and variance analysis.
• Forecast letters of credit and surety bond requirements across the project pipeline and manage instruments from issuance through amendment, tracking, and release.
• Support corporate revolver borrowings, credit facility compliance, lender reporting, commitment tracking, and available-capacity monitoring.
• Support interest rate swap administration, counterparty exposure monitoring, cash investment recommendations, and bank relationship management.
• Manage bank account administration, KYC, signatory updates, treasury reporting, documentation, controls, audits, and diligence requests.
• Lead evaluation of treasury management systems and develop a roadmap for treasury technology and automation; review Treasury Analyst work, including payment runs and withdrawal certificates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of corporate treasury experience at a renewable developer or independent power producer.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and Microsoft Office skills, including advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Demonstrated experience with cash forecasting, letters of credit, surety bonds, and project finance structures including construction loans, term loans, and tax equity.
• Familiarity with credit agreements, reporting requirements, cash waterfalls, U.S. GAAP as applied to cash, debt, and collateral, treasury internal controls, and bank KYC requirements.
• Knowledge of renewable and thermal energy project development, interconnection, and power markets.
• Ability to recognize and solve business problems, isolate trends and issues, drive deliverables across multiple teams and external counterparties, and communicate analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing organization and build collaborative partnerships with peers, management, and vendors.
• Ability to work in the Salt Lake City office at least 3 days per week and travel up to 25%.
• U.S. work authorization without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CTP certification.
• Experience with Power BI, treasury management systems, or process automation tools.
• Exposure to collateral management, margining, commodity hedging, interest rate swaps, ISDA documentation, or credit facility administration.
