Senior Software Engineer I (MES)

Location: Long Beach, CA, US office; US citizenship is required due to program requirements.

Base salary: $132,000–$198,000 USD annually. Total compensation including equity: $196,275–$233,675 USD annually.

What you will do

• Develop full-stack software for the in-house Manufacturing Execution System, ERP integrations, and related products.
• Work across frontend and backend development, database administration, UI/UX, product ownership, DevOps, and SRE activities.
• Build software using automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, code reviews, Agile methods, and Jira.
• Use Git, maintain documentation, collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Technicians, Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Provide user support and integrate the MES platform with related technical systems.
• Propose solutions to complex engineering challenges and communicate technical concepts.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Strong Git skills for version control and collaboration.
• Proficiency in C# and TypeScript.
• Operational knowledge of Angular or another frontend framework; .NET or another backend framework; Git; SQL; and HTML/CSS.
• US citizenship is required due to program requirements.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch.
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative teamwork.
• Experience in aerospace domains including Launch Operations, ERP, QMS, and PLM.
