Software Engineer, Robot Integration and Test (Robotics)

What you will do

• Build automated manufacturing tests that verify robot functionality before deployment and track results for each robot.
• Convert provisioning, flashing, and calibration scripts, including camera calibration, into guided technician workflows.
• Build one-click service tests and startup self-checks covering hardware, software versions, and configuration.
• Define subsystem pass/fail criteria with hardware, perception, and controls teams.
• Root-cause failures across hardware, firmware, and software and drive resolution with owning teams.
• Track recurring failure modes and improve robot design, assembly, and testing processes.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Experience writing software that interfaces with real hardware, including motors, sensors, and embedded devices.
• Experience building automated tests, manufacturing test stations, or technician-facing test tools.
• Comfort debugging across hardware and software, including reading schematics and working with communication buses such as CAN or EtherCAT.
• Experience with Linux and ROS, ROS2, or similar robotics middleware.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with camera calibration or sensor bring-up.
