Head of Talent (Crypto)

Location: Hybrid, SoHo office, New York, United States

Salary: $238,400–$298,000 annual full-time salary, plus tokens and benefits

What you will do

• Own the long-term talent strategy and workforce plan, partnering with the executive team on priorities, headcount, organizational design, and timing.
• Advise leaders on role scoping, leveling, compensation, hiring strategy, and organizational needs.
• Build, mentor, and scale the recruiting team while personally leading senior and hard-to-fill searches.
• Develop talent pipelines through sourcing, talent mapping, and relationships across engineering, product, design, and business functions.
• Lead candidate experience, recruiting operations, ATS and tooling, interview processes, interviewer training, and scheduling.
• Support internal talent development, performance and growth assessment, career paths, promotions, mobility, succession, onboarding, and first-day readiness.

Requirements

• 10+ years of recruiting experience, including 3+ years leading recruiting teams in a fast-growing technology company.
• Experience building a recruiting function from a small team and scaling it while remaining hands-on.
• Experience hiring senior engineering, product, design, and business talent in competitive markets.
• Experience with long-term workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy while working directly across the leadership team.
• Strong judgment when advising leaders on hiring strategy, role design, leveling, and compensation.
• Experience supporting internal talent development, including performance, career paths, and succession alongside recruiting.
• Comfort setting metrics, reading recruiting pipelines, and changing processes based on data.
• Hands-on experience with an ATS and recruiting tools, including choosing and improving the recruiting technology stack.
• Clear, direct communication skills and the ability to build trust with candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
• Ability to work from the SoHo, New York office.

• A network of senior engineering, product, design, and business talent in technology.
• Experience leading or partnering on people initiatives beyond recruiting, including talent development, performance programs, and succession planning.
• Experience across recruiting and people operations, including leveling, compensation design, and onboarding.
• Curiosity about crypto and the Uniswap ecosystem.
