Lead Business Consultant, Enterprise Data Management & Data Integration

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid work arrangement with travel to client sites as required.

Salary: CAD 135,000–165,000 per year, plus annual discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead major workstreams in hirify.global One implementation projects focused on data management, data integration, and investment operations for asset managers, asset owners, banks, and insurers.
• Analyze client requirements, operating models, data architectures, and integration needs and translate them into practical implementation solutions.
• Design and support investment data solutions covering security master, reference, pricing, market, trade, position, holdings, and vendor data.
• Design, configure, and support data flows between hirify.global One and order management, accounting, performance, risk, reporting, data warehouse, and enterprise data management systems.
• Support data mapping, validation, testing, reconciliation, issue resolution, project delivery, and client communication through go-live.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to reusable delivery assets, integration standards, implementation methods, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Experience as an analyst, implementation consultant, data consultant, business consultant, or similar role supporting asset managers, asset owners, banks, custodians, data vendors, or financial technology providers.
• Strong understanding of several investment data domains, including security master and reference data, instrument and issuer data, pricing and market data, index and benchmark data, trade and holdings data, corporate actions, data quality, validation, enrichment, and exception management.
• Experience with financial data vendors, custodians, market data providers, or internal enterprise data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data management, including data sourcing, integration, governance, lineage, quality controls, and golden-source data management.
• Hands-on experience integrating investment management platforms with upstream and downstream financial systems.
• Excellent knowledge of several technical areas, including data integration architecture, REST APIs, web services, JSON, XML, XSLT, file-based integrations, SQL, Oracle or SQL Server, ETL/ELT, data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, integration testing, regression testing, data validation, and continuous integration and delivery.
• Experience with software implementation projects in the financial industry, preferably involving data management, data integration, investment operations, or investment accounting platforms.
• Ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, document data flows and mappings, support configuration, and guide clients through implementation, testing, and go-live.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, independent, collaborative, and able to take ownership of assigned work and deliver high-quality results on time.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for working with business users, technical teams, and client stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
