Senior Methodology and Content Manager (AI)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Own methodology and content for North American assurance and reporting solutions across audit, review, compilation, and financial statement presentation and disclosure.
• Develop or procure methodology and content, assess sourcing trade-offs, maintain quality and traceability to authoritative standards, and manage licensed content, intellectual property risks, renewals, and permitted uses.
• Oversee implementation across desktop and Cloud products by translating standards into product features, functional specifications, user workflows, acceptance criteria, and release schedules.
• Advise Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, customers, and partners on regulatory developments, methodology questions, product implications, training, and solution usage.
• Use AI-assisted workflows for content development, define quality standards for AI-assisted content, and help set the direction for agentic AI in customer workflows.
• Represent hirify.global with standard-setting, professional accountancy, and industry bodies; contribute to events, thought leadership, user research, customer feedback, and mentoring.

Requirements

• US CPA, Canadian CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting designation.
• At least 7 years of experience in audit or standards-setting, including Manager-level or above experience in public practice or an audit-regulated environment.
• Deep knowledge of assurance and financial reporting standards across North American frameworks, with depth in one market and working knowledge of the other.
• Experience with US frameworks including PCAOB standards, AICPA GAAS, SSARS, attestation standards, SEC reporting requirements, and US GAAP, and Canadian frameworks including the CPA Canada Handbook, CAS, CSRE, CSRS, ASPE, and IFRS as adopted in Canada.
• Experience developing methodology and assessing its quality, including understanding engagement methodology, documentation standards, regulatory inspection, practice review, PCAOB, and CPAB expectations.
• Experience working with externally sourced professional content, guidance, or standards, including IP and licensing terms.
• Experience implementing content into software products, audit software, digital audit tools, or workflow automation projects.
• Experience applying AI to content development or a clear appetite to do so, with the ability to safely evaluate AI outputs.
• Strong critical thinking, research, synthesis, communication, analytical, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills, plus experience mentoring or reviewing other professionals.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GAGAS, Uniform Guidance single audits, GASB, or Canadian public sector standards.
