Senior IAM / Keycloak Developer (Keycloak)

What you will do

• Support engineering delivery and transition activities for the permissions workstream.
• Configure and deploy Keycloak and IAM services in Azure and support solution design, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Design and implement Policy-Based Access Control policies and configure multi-realm Keycloak environments.
• Implement SSO and identity federation and integrate Keycloak Authorisation Services with the workbench and Supervisory Framework Services.
• Contribute authorisation expertise to future workbench services, including the Document Management Service (Compass).
• Develop and maintain custom Keycloak extensions using Java/J2EE while collaborating with technical and delivery teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Experience with Keycloak Authorisation Services, administering and customising Keycloak, and implementing Keycloak in hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of IAM concepts and standards, including OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, OBO/Token Exchange, and fine-grained authorisation.
• Development experience with Java/J2EE and experience developing custom Keycloak extensions.
• Experience implementing or supporting PBAC policies and multi-realm Keycloak configurations.
• Experience implementing SSO and identity federation and integrating IAM/authorisation services with enterprise platforms.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
• Fluency in English.
• Skills and experience appropriate to an SFIA Level 5 Software Developer role.

• Experience deploying Keycloak and IAM services within Microsoft Azure.
