Engineering Intern (Robotics)

Location: South San Francisco, United States; on-site. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship/co-op period.

What you will do

• Work with the engineering team on the design, modeling, and testing of drone motors and robot actuators.
• Support CAD work, design iterations, simulation, analysis, and prototype evaluation.
• Contribute to engineering documentation, design reviews, and assigned research tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to move motor and actuator designs from concept toward production.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering undergraduate or graduate program.
• Strong interest in robotics, drone technology, manufacturing, or technology startups.
• Previous internship or project-based student organization experience, such as Formula SAE, Rocketry, or Design Build Fly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of relevant tools or software, including CAD, PCB layout tools, embedded programming, or data analysis.
• Authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship/co-op period.
