Frontend Engineer

Location: Onsite in Sunnyvale, California, United States

Salary: USD 65,000–165,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and maintain fast, accessible, responsive web interfaces with HTML, CSS, and React.
• Integrate front-end applications with back-end services and REST APIs, including CORS and authentication flows.
• Implement real-time features with WebSockets and optimize Core Web Vitals, including LCP, INP, and CLS.
• Contribute to and use the shared design system by creating reusable, well-documented components.
• Use Node.js tooling for builds, bundling, and lightweight services.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with QA on testability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
• Production experience with React and working knowledge of Angular.
• Experience with API integration, CORS, and WebSockets.
• Practical knowledge of web performance and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience working within a design system or component library.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js and modern build tooling.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks.
