Front-End Software Engineer (National Security)

Salary: $165,000–$235,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications supporting mission systems.
• Build interactive and responsive user interfaces with Vue.js, Cesium, AG-Grid, HTML5 Canvas, WebSocket, and TypeScript.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, UI/UX designers, and mission partners on mission-critical technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot front-end performance and usability issues with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Support demonstrations and user engagement to ensure solutions meet mission needs.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing front-end web applications with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AG-Grid, Cesium, HTML5 Canvas, WebSocket, Keycloak, and Elasticsearch/Kibana.
• Experience with backend technologies such as Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles, accessibility, and usability best practices.
• Experience working in AWS or other cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting mission systems or national security customers.
