TMAC System Administrator - DoW

Location: On-site at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Remote/telework is not available. Day shift. Active Secret Clearance is required. No relocation assistance is available.

What you will do

• Install, configure, administer, monitor, upgrade, and troubleshoot Red Hat and Windows servers, VMware vCenter, ESXi, Horizon, VDI environments, NetApp storage, NetBackup, Oracle databases, and Microsoft SQL.
• Configure virtual storage using iSCSI and NFS, apply system patches, manage configurations, and resolve infrastructure problems.
• Develop and document technical processes and procedures.
• Apply information assurance requirements and Active Directory group policies to existing systems.
• Work with teammates, vendors, government customers, and Agile teams to evaluate solutions and resolve technical issues.
• Recommend and implement enhancements that improve system performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• At least 6 years of general work history and at least 3 years of directly related experience.
• Experience administering complex applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms.
• Experience installing and configuring Linux and Windows systems from the operating-system level upward.
• Experience installing and configuring VMware, administering ESXi hosts, deploying and configuring VMware vCenter, and configuring iSCSI and NFS virtual storage.
• Experience with information assurance policies and procedures, applying IA requirements to existing systems, and applying Active Directory group policies.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining scripting-language solutions.

Nice to have

• Ability to administer Windows Server and higher, VMware, and NetApp.
• Knowledge of network services including DNS, DHCP, and NPS.
• Knowledge of authentication services including Active Directory, RADIUS, and NPS.
• Server support experience with Linux, Windows, VMware, and VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and accurately identify the root cause of infrastructure issues.
• Strong collaboration capabilities with government customers and Agile teams.
• Knowledge of containerized virtual environments.
