Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, Peru

What you will do

• Map current-state workflows and diagnose operational friction, including handoff failures, governance gaps, and tooling mismatches.
• Redesign target-state operations and comprehensive operating models covering organizational structure, roles, governance, cross-functional interactions, human-agent collaboration, and value realization.
• Build functional AI-powered workflows, automations, proofs of concept, and prototypes using LLM APIs, platform-native features, and low-code/no-code environments.
• Use working demos within client processes to align stakeholders, evaluate practical AI opportunities, and set realistic expectations.
• Establish performance baselines and measurement frameworks, identify value gaps, and support adoption through process design, change management, rollout support, and enablement materials.
• Support engagement scoping and diagnostic assessments while contributing reusable frameworks and tools for practice qualification and scoping.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in management consulting or equivalent roles within enterprise technology, SaaS, or professional services.
• Expertise in at least two of: organizational design, operating model transformation, change management, technology enablement, process engineering, or go-to-market execution.
• Experience building structured, evidence-based arguments to influence and align senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience building functional AI-powered workflows, automations, and prototypes, with the ability to ship working solutions.
• Ability to rapidly scope and build a working proof of concept within client engagement constraints.
• Ability to work autonomously without a dedicated engineering team and determine when to involve additional resources.
• Strong diagnostic mindset focused on understanding root causes and broken processes before proposing solutions.
• Accountability for measurable outcomes and impact, with a preference for early working prototypes over static roadmaps.
• Ability to work in a forward-deployed capacity alongside client engineers, product leads, and operators.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale organizational assessments, process redesigns, or large-scale technology rollouts.
