Procurement Buyer I (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Monitor supplier on-time delivery performance and follow up on late shipments to maintain material availability and uninterrupted production.
• Create and maintain supplier master records, purchasing info records, and pricing conditions in SAP, including supplier price changes.
• Analyze and resolve blocked invoices caused by pricing discrepancies in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• Collect and analyze supplier quotations, prepare cost comparisons, and support sourcing decisions for new and existing part numbers.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams on engineering changes and plant requirements.
• Track supplier quality incidents and corrective actions with Quality and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and contract management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proactive team-player approach, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with SAP.
