Workday Integrations Consultant (German Speaking)

What you will do

• Deliver integration solutions for the cloud-based Workday HCM system as part of a specialist integration consulting team.
• Scope integration work, gather requirements, document solutions, and implement, deploy, and support integrations using the Workday integration platform toolset.
• Work with customers to understand requirements and ensure solutions are aligned, fit for purpose, and commercially viable.
• Build customer relationships, manage expectations, and present to senior client audiences.
• Guide, develop, and educate colleagues within the Workday practice on integrations.

Requirements

• Fluent German and English.
• Proficiency with XML, XPath, and XSLT, plus knowledge of an object-oriented programming language, preferably J2EE.
• Experience designing workflows to solve business and technical problems.
• Good understanding of cloud computing, web services, and associated integration challenges.
• Excellent customer focus, with the ability to assess customer needs, build relationships, manage expectations, push back when appropriate, escalate issues, and support customers effectively.
• Strong communication skills for customer and colleague interactions, including remote working situations, and the ability to present formally to senior client audiences.
• Strong commercial awareness and full understanding of project and business dynamics.
• Broad business and technology understanding, with awareness of industry trends in HR and HR technology.

Nice to have

• Workday HCM certification or experience with similar HCM or ERP systems.
• Proficiency with other middleware or integration platforms.
• Experience designing workflows to solve business and technical problems.
