Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Johnston, Rhode Island, United States

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Transform complex enterprise data into visualizations, reports, dashboards, and insights that support strategic business decisions.
• Source, profile, cleanse, transform, and prepare data from multiple enterprise systems using Alteryx, Tableau Prep, and similar tools.
• Develop and maintain automated data preparation, transformation, reporting, and analytics workflows, with a strong emphasis on Alteryx.
• Develop, implement, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence platforms.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into solutions, communicate progress, and document processes and methodologies.
• Coordinate and provide day-to-day direction to contract resources across multiple concurrent projects while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, security, and delivery against priorities and timelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working within or supporting an Enterprise Data Office, including experience navigating enterprise data, analytics, governance, and/or reporting environments.
• Experience owning projects end-to-end, including defining objectives, managing deliverables, communicating status to business leaders, and demonstrating business value.
• Experience gathering, clarifying, translating, and documenting business requirements while partnering with stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, establish organizational partnerships, learn the business quickly, and identify high-value opportunities.
• Experience supporting technical data-driven initiatives and business-facing reporting, analytics, and dashboarding solutions.
• Ability to navigate complex enterprise environments, including obtaining and managing access to systems, tools, and data sources.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining organization, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or similar data preparation and ETL tools; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence platforms; and experience developing repeatable, scalable data preparation and reporting processes.
• Strong understanding of data quality, data integrity, governance, and analytics best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
