Staff AI Deployment Strategist (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in either the Brooklyn, NY or Washington, D.C. hub locations.

Salary: $165,000–$195,000 USD annual base salary. Full-time offers may also include competitive equity grants and either a discretionary bonus or variable compensation plan.

What you will do

• Lead customer discovery with trade compliance analysts, operations leaders, enterprise IT, and other stakeholders; assess workflows, data, systems, and process maturity.
• Prioritize AI use cases based on customer value, feasibility, and data readiness, then design end-to-end agentic AI workflows with appropriate human involvement.
• Draft prompts, system instructions, evaluation criteria, solution designs, requirements, workflow maps, and acceptance criteria.
• Prototype concepts on hirify.global’s platform, validate approaches with customers, and hand designs to AI Deployment Engineers for build and validation.
• Define measurable success across adoption, decision quality, time saved, and risk reduced; support training, enablement, go-live, and expansion.
• Partner with sales, customer success, engineering, machine learning, and product teams while creating reusable solution patterns, discovery guides, and templates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing solutioning or advisory roles, such as solutions consulting, solution architecture, sales engineering, technical consulting, product management, or implementation with design-level scope.
• Track record of turning ambiguous customer problems into delivered solutions with external stakeholders under real deadlines and consequences.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, including running discovery workshops, presenting solutions to executives, and explaining designs to engineers.
• Product instincts, structured thinking, and ability to make progress with partial information while seeking repeatable solutions.
• Strong working understanding of agentic AI systems, including LLM-powered agents, tool and function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, and human-in-the-loop design.
• Hands-on prompt design and evaluation skills, including diagnosing weak agent outputs and defining improvements.
• Comfort with SQL for data exploration and validation; ability to read REST, Swagger/OpenAPI documentation and data models well enough to design and scope integrations.
• Daily practical use of AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or Cursor, plus sufficient understanding of data pipelines, cloud-hosted systems, and ML systems to assess feasibility. Production coding is not required.
