Senior Product Designer (Enterprise Security)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid schedule with in-person orientation and work from the Toronto office 2 days per week.

Annual base salary: CAD 118,000–162,000, plus applicable equity, bonus, health, dental and vision insurance, RRSP matching, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave.

What you will do

• Drive and execute product design strategy with measurable impact on user experience and business outcomes.
• Apply systems thinking to connect user insights, business goals, and complex identity problems across the Okta portfolio.
• Frame problems and explore solutions with user research, UX writing, product management, engineering, marketing, and data science.
• Design end-to-end flows for IT administrators, security administrators, and end users across complex use cases.
• Create scalable, usable design patterns that improve quality, efficiency, and consistency across the product.
• Present concepts and design work to cross-functional teams, adjacent teams, and senior leadership, while using AI for brainstorming, prototyping, and iteration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer.
• A portfolio demonstrating complex technical projects across generative and evaluative research, discovery, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and the broader design process.
• Experience incorporating AI into the design process, including crafting tools, iterating collaboratively with AI, and documenting sophisticated prompts for scaled use.
• Ability to deliver real user value in fast-moving, complex product environments while connecting user needs with broader portfolio goals.
• Experience owning the full design lifecycle from early discovery through final execution and handoff.
• Ability to collaborate closely across design, product, and engineering teams.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and adapt between leading and learning.
• Ability to build empathy with users and deeply understand their needs.
• Ability to communicate design ideas through storytelling to varied stakeholders and partner with Product Management and Engineering on strategic and operational product and UX outcomes.
