Senior Fullstack Engineer C# (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, with work from the Miami Lakes, Florida office; the role operates in the Miami / Fort Lauderdale area.

What you will do

• Design and build backend services in C#/.NET using clean architecture and engineering best practices.
• Deliver end-to-end features across APIs, system integrations, approval workflows, and the React web portal.
• Help replace a legacy system comprising 16 workflows, including request submission, response handling, status updates, and approvals.
• Work in an Agile team with two-week sprints, ceremonies, code reviews, and technical collaboration.
• Write and maintain unit and regression tests, document technical decisions, and collaborate with business stakeholders and owners of other systems.
• Answer teammates' technical questions and contribute quickly after onboarding in a three-person team with aggressive delivery dates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience building applications, with strong C#/.NET experience; .NET 7+ is preferred.
• Applied knowledge of clean architecture, including SOLID principles, separation of concerns, SRP, DRY, and domain-driven design.
• Proven experience building an application from scratch.
• Working knowledge of React and CSS; UI design specialization is not required.
• Experience writing unit and regression tests.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong in-person communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to a corporate environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from the Miami Lakes, Florida office.
• Professional-level English.

• Experience in banking or financial services.
• Experience integrating systems through REST APIs and messaging.
• Experience with workflow and approval processes.
• Familiarity with UI templates such as Mantis.
• Interest in programming and challenging, high-volume projects.
