Flight Simulator Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: hirify.global Vienna Training Services, Parzgasse 2, 2320 Schwechat, Austria; onsite role

Salary: minimum gross monthly salary of EUR 4,350, with possible overpayment depending on qualifications and experience

What you will do

• Keep simulators and other training devices operational by debugging avionics, aircraft-system, recurring, and intermittent issues.
• Tune instructor-raised subjective observations and debug and tune Qualification Test Guides.
• Resolve basic software issues and integrate fixes into software loads.
• Plan and prepare annual Recurrent Qualifications for in-service devices.
• Coordinate new simulator projects and upgrades, overseeing installation, testing, and qualification as project engineer.
• Provide regulatory guidance and requalification support, work with the Simulator Technician Team Leader, and provide shift coverage when required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of hirify.global software and applications, including hirify.globalLIB, GitHub, Strive Framework, Visual Systems, SIM XXI and 7000XR system architecture, Simfinity, Launchpad, and ITMS.
• Knowledge of C, C++, FORTRAN, and scripting languages such as Python.
• Strong computer literacy, including PC and/or computer mainframe architecture.
• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience is ideally required.
• A college diploma or associate degree, ideally in a relevant technical discipline.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and applications.
• Fluency in English.
