Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Certifications (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully remote for UK/EU-based candidates with strong overlap with UK business hours required; at least 4 hours of overlap between 8am and 6pm UK time.

What you will do

• Design and build certification products that validate learners’ chosen paths and demonstrate their capabilities to employers.
• Own the exam experience, including preparation, booking, delivery, results, and certificate sharing.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure RESTful APIs and modern frontend interfaces.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, Marketing, and Content Engineering on practical exam content, scenarios, and environments.
• Take ambiguous product problems from concept through design, implementation, and production deployment.
• Improve engineering quality through code reviews, system design discussions, mentoring, data analysis, user feedback, and experimentation.

Requirements

• Strong commercial full-stack experience building production SaaS applications.
• Advanced TypeScript, Node.js, React, and MongoDB or SQL fundamentals.
• Product-engineer mindset focused on user impact and business outcomes.
• Ability to take full ownership of features from database schemas through UI implementation and polish.
• Experience using modern AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude, with the judgment to evaluate and test generated code.
• Ability to explain complex technical trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sanity or a similar headless CMS.
• Genuine interest in cybersecurity or online education.
