Associate Solutions Architect (AI)

Location: London, UK. The position is located in London, England, with work coordinated through the London Center of Energy; willingness to travel 25% is required.

What you will do

• Scope implementations, integrations, and custom solutions with prospective and existing customers.
• Assess technical feasibility, research technologies, and design monitoring use cases and integrations for the LM Envision platform.
• Build services estimates covering effort, timelines, and pricing, and develop Statements of Work and design documentation with Sales, Customer Success, and customers.
• Conduct post-sales discovery, requirements gathering, research, prototyping, and custom-solution design.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Solutions Architects, and Solutions Engineers to guide delivery, support deployments, review proposals, and handle technical escalations.
• Contribute to Professional Services offerings, product feedback, enablement, and customer best-practice guidance.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an IT professional supporting one or more IT infrastructure domains, including server, network, security, storage, virtualization, or cloud, using best-practice processes such as ITIL.
• 1+ years of experience with one or more programming languages: Python, PowerShell, Java, or Groovy.
• Familiarity with HTTP, JSON, RegEx, REST APIs, OIDs, and MIB files.
• Subject matter expertise in one or more IT operations domains: Windows/Linux server, networking, security, storage, virtualization, or cloud, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Willingness to travel 25%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• ITIL Foundations certification.
• Customer-facing, Professional Services, consulting, software development, or services experience.
• Experience with IT monitoring tools such as hirify.global, SolarWinds, Nagios, ScienceLogic, or Zenoss, and protocols such as SNMP and WMI.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise software implementations.
• IT certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNA, MCSA, RHCSA, or equivalent.
