Financial Advisor - MFDA

Location: Rocky Mountain House, AB, Canada. On-site full-time; flexible to work banking centre hours including evenings and weekends, and at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

What you will do

• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management, financial services support, and exceptional client service.
• Act as a single point of contact and provide tailored advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning.
• Develop local-market sales plans, convert leads into clients, generate opportunities, and increase referrals.
• Use credit and investment solutions to deliver needs-based recommendations and strengthen client loyalty.
• Attend local events and participate in marketing and outreach activities to increase community awareness and generate future opportunities.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice to clients, establishing relationships, and achieving performance targets.
• Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC), or Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC), with eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• For Quebec roles: current AMF licensing accreditation and good standing, successful completion of CIFC or CSC to support AMF licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).
• Client-focused, relationship-oriented, respectful, authentic, proactive, goal-oriented, and committed to delivering results.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.
