Intern, Electrical Designer (Electrical Engineering)

What you will do

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details and perform quantity take-offs.
• Assist with project monitoring, scheduling, computer modeling, and progress reports.
• Support the production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineers.
• Apply appropriate codes and standards to engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and engineering software.
• Experience with computer-aided design software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and professional interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
