  • Comfort using laboratory tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and soldering irons.
  • Exposure to PCB design, hardware troubleshooting, or CAD.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to investigate unfamiliar problems.
  • Clear communication and demonstrated ability to work effectively with others.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required export authorizations without sponsorship for an export license.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing simple circuits or PCBs with KiCad or Altium.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers such as STM32 or ESP32, or communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, or CAN.
  • Experience on a student engineering team such as underwater robotics, SAE, or similar design-build competitions.
  • Interest in maritime systems, autonomy, or defense technology.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hands-on work on real scoped hardware projects deployed in ocean environments.
  • Direct collaboration, regular feedback, mentorship, and rapid iteration with electrical engineers.
  • Lunch and snacks provided in the office.
  • Medical, vision, and dental coverage and access to a 401(k) retirement plan for full-time employees.
  • Competitive salary and a work environment combining technology, maritime, and defense.
