Software Development Engineer in Test - Contractor (AI)

Base pay: $140,500–$210,700 USD annually

What you will do

• Plan and execute quality engineering activities, including test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Review requirements, technical specifications, and designs to identify quality risks and define testing approaches.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across supported platforms and devices.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and UI/API test suites.
• Analyze automation results and CI/CD failures, investigate root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Track defects, communicate quality risks and blockers, and improve test coverage, tooling, automation, and QE processes.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years or equivalent experience in UI automation for web applications.
• Strong experience writing automated tests in Python, JavaScript, C++, or another programming language.
• Experience with Selenium, Appium, or other UI automation technologies.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs, libraries, SDKs/application frameworks, and native applications.
• Experience with AI evaluation tooling, prompt evaluation frameworks, model monitoring, or human-in-the-loop review workflows.
• Experience with at least one modern web application framework.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Experience developing or writing test code or scripts for a game console.
• Experience developing an application; game application experience is an additional advantage.
• Practical experience with Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Experience with source control, especially Git, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with ML infrastructure, data pipelines, or model-serving platforms such as Seldon, KServe, or Ray Serve.
