Provider Contracting Senior Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid. Travel of up to 20% may be required.

What you will do

• Manage provider contracting activities across assigned Eastern European markets, including provider engagement, negotiation, execution, implementation, renewals, amendments, and replacement strategies.
• Negotiate commercial terms with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, physician groups, and other healthcare providers, collaborating with Legal and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze network coverage, member needs, utilization, claims spend, tariffs, discounts, cost per claim, and market developments to identify contracting and network expansion opportunities.
• Develop business cases, financial assessments, benchmarks, and management recommendations for contracting decisions.
• Build professional relationships with priority providers, resolve contracting and implementation issues, and support member access.
• Coordinate contract implementation, maintain documentation and records, monitor renewals and milestones, and improve governance, reporting, processes, and data quality.

Requirements

• Knowledge of high-priority healthcare providers, third-party administrators, and competitor capabilities within the assigned region.
• Full professional proficiency in English and at least one Eastern European language.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills for engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Ability to define objectives, establish plans, manage competing priorities, and deliver results.
• Ability to develop meaningful business metrics and monitor progress and results.
• Strong collaboration skills across departments, matrix partners, external stakeholders, and geographically dispersed teams.
• Mature professional judgment and ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex environment with shifting priorities.
• Energetic, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economics, Finance, Healthcare Management, Law, or a related discipline.
