Int. Full-Stack Automation Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with 2 days onsite in McLean, VA; candidates must reside in or be willing to commute to the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and operationalize scalable solutions that improve delivery team productivity and capabilities.
• Translate business and customer stakeholder requirements into well-architected technical solutions.
• Build custom software and low-code/no-code solutions using .NET/C#, Python, Java, and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Develop AI-powered workflows and agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility, and Azure AI services.
• Develop intuitive end-user solutions with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, REST APIs, Node.js, and Python.
• Manage GitHub-based development workflows and CI/CD, collaborate with stakeholders and UX designers, and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience in full-stack engineering roles using enterprise application development and lifecycle management tools and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with .NET/C#, Python, and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Proficiency with GitHub version control, including branching strategies, pull requests, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture principles and Azure infrastructure, including App Services, Functions, and Storage.
• Current residence in or willingness to commute to the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Nice to have

• Experience building or extending AI/LLM tools, including Microsoft Copilot solutions and Copilot Studio, and using tools such as Claude Code and Azure CLI.
• Working knowledge of Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, or Azure Cognitive Services.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Familiarity with Dataverse, SharePoint Framework, or Dynamics 365 integrations.
• Experience in regulated environments such as government or defense.
• Experience with low-code/no-code platform governance.
