2027 Sophomore Internship Program - Software Engineer Intern, Highlands Ranch (Fintech)

Location: US - Denver, CO; at least 3 days in the office required, with 5–10% travel

Salary: $39–$46 per hour; U.S. applicant information also states an estimated hourly rate of $39–$43 USD

What you will do

• Contribute to hirify.global technology teams through meaningful software engineering projects.
• Deploy Kafka clusters using Docker and Kubernetes through self-service tools.
• Develop a natural-language chatbot for knowledge-base searches and build visual monitoring tools for transactional issues.
• Prototype automated payment solutions, including gas-station payments and digital-currency transaction routing.
• Create testing tools, enhance hirify.global Checkout usability, and develop an app factory for mobile banking applications.
• Support the full software lifecycle while learning and applying secure coding practices.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.
• Graduation between December 2028 and August 2029 is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; hirify.global sponsorship and future sponsorship will not be provided.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in one or more of Java, C, C++, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or HTML.
• Experience with automation or testing tools such as Selenium, REST, Python, or Groovy.
• Familiarity with software testing principles and strong understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
• Ability to document processes and perform analysis.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead and handle ambiguity effectively.
