Executive Manager - Procurement (Banking)

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; office-based role with flexible and remote working options subject to eligibility and job requirements.

What you will do

• Develop and implement a bank-wide procurement strategy covering supply, demand, sourcing, and long-term vendor value.
• Develop and implement a pan-ADCB procurement framework for products, infrastructure, technology, risk and insurance, consultancy, and other services.
• Lead procurement initiatives, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and demand planning.
• Manage relationships with critical suppliers, partners, and third parties and negotiate long-term supply contracts.
• Lead the procurement team through objective setting, performance management, development, feedback, and engagement.
• Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, improve policies and processes, and contribute to organizational change initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of progressively more complex and responsible experience leading a large procurement function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) accreditation or equivalent.
