Technology Supplier & Cost Management Specialist

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; full-time onsite role.

What you will do

• Govern and provide end-to-end visibility of technology expenditure across software, cloud, infrastructure, telecom, managed services, and professional services.
• Develop spend forecasts, financial models, dashboards, and executive reporting for budgeting and investment decisions.
• Build business cases and commercial evaluations using TCO, ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback analysis.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract renewals, supplier governance, performance reviews, and risk management.
• Identify and execute cost optimization initiatives across technology licensing, cloud, infrastructure, managed services, and workforce expenditure.
• Track savings realization and use data analytics to identify anomalies, supplier risks, cost reduction opportunities, and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Technology Finance, IT Commercial Management, Vendor Management, Strategic Sourcing, Technology Cost Management, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience managing significant technology spend portfolios and delivering measurable cost optimization and value realization outcomes.
• Experience in large enterprise environments, including technology procurement, software licensing, cloud and infrastructure cost management, supplier negotiations, and executive-level reporting.
• Strong expertise in technology spend management, financial planning and analysis, commercial modelling, vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis, Power Query, and Pivot Tables.
• Strategic thinking, commercial acumen, analytical capability, stakeholder management, influencing skills, executive communication, and results orientation.

Nice to have

• Power BI experience.
• MBA, CIPS, CFA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
