Data Business Analyst Lead

Location: 100% remote from Ukraine, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Slovenia, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, or Slovakia.

What you will do

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and maintain transformation rules, data dictionaries, and metric definitions.
• Design and implement mappings between multiple data sources.
• Analyze and interpret data to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to align project objectives.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI or other BI tools.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL; conduct stakeholder surveys, workshops, and meetings to clarify requirements and rules.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience conducting workshops, leading meetings, and facilitating brainstorming meetings.
• Experience documenting data projects.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong experience writing advanced SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Understanding of data warehouse, data lake, lakehouse, and ETL concepts, plus experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms.
• Experience in data visualization with Power BI or another BI tool.
• Experience delivering finance reporting and BI solutions for finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in CPG industry-related projects.
• Experience with Databricks and the Azure data stack.
