Skywise - Cloud Security Architect (AWS)

Location: Waterloo, Canada; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the Blagnac office.

What you will do

• Design and enforce enterprise cloud security baselines, landing zones, and infrastructure perimeters across AWS, GCP, and other SKYWISE platforms.
• Define and improve cloud-native identity and access management, including least privilege, short-lived service credentials, key management, and regular access reviews.
• Partner with the Cyber Security Architect to deploy products on secure, isolated, and compliant platforms.
• Own platform-level compliance with security standards and certification requirements for cloud security controls.
• Define posture monitoring and threat-defense architecture to detect misconfigurations, unauthorized exposure, and security breaches.
• Act as the focal point for the Airbus Security Operations Center and collaborate with SKYWISE Data Platform Operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 3+ years in cloud security architecture within a company or SaaS environment.
• Experience securing native cloud platform services across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud security controls, including segmentation and key management.
• Experience with identity and access management in cloud environments.
• Ability to identify and communicate security risks related to cloud platforms.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, pragmatic problem solving, proactive working style, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and concepts.

Nice to have

• AWS certified security or specialty certification.
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CSSP) certification.
