Senior Planning Manager, Campus Lead - Data Centre

Location: Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom; on-site 2–3 days per week with hybrid working.

What you will do

• Lead the campus schedule management team, including client service management, strategic oversight, and line management.
• Oversee successful delivery of data centre campuses and support repeat business through high-quality client service.
• Audit general contractor schedules for logic, compliance, and complete project scope coverage.
• Establish schedule reporting procedures, analyse schedule data, and provide regular reporting to clients and internal teams.
• Interview main contractors, analyse tenders, assess schedule scenarios, and provide recommendations to clients.
• Develop construction schedules, manage change control, support contract administration, and integrate testing and commissioning information into integrated master schedules.
• Support risk management through schedule quantitative risk assessments and verify onsite work against schedule forecasts.
• Support and develop the data centre team across high-profile projects in the UK and Europe.

Requirements

• Proven data centre experience in a consultancy environment or as a consultant, lead contractor, or client-side planning lead on mission-critical projects.
• Experience as a Lead Project Planner on data centre projects valued at £40 million or more.
• Extensive technical delivery experience in a consultancy, contractor, or end-user client environment.
• Ability to quickly acclimatise to new projects, take ownership, and drive delivery forward.
• Strong capability with Primavera P6 and the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Team-oriented, proactive, diplomatic, personable, patient, flexible, and committed to customer service excellence and commercial results.
• Degree-level qualification.

Nice to have

• Line management experience.
• Experience with PowerBI reporting systems and schedule data alignment.
• Experience using 4D modelling tools such as Syncro.
• Experience writing schedule management processes for portfolio structure alignment and reporting.
• Desirable professional chartership or equivalent, such as MCIOB, MRICS, MAPM, or MIARB.
