Project Planning and Coordination Manager (Architectural)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Existing right to live and work in the UK is required; international travel may be required 2–3 times per year.

What you will do

• Provide planning, coordination, and reporting support across large-scale cruise ship newbuilding projects from concept and design through shipyard delivery and the guarantee period.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize integrated schedules covering architectural design, engineering, technical, production, testing, delivery, and guarantee activities.
• Coordinate planning inputs from architectural design, plan approval and R&D engineering, factory and harbour acceptance testing, technical engineering, guarantee teams, external partners, and other stakeholders.
• Track milestones, deliverables, critical paths, residual work, production schedules, risks, forecasts, and overall project progress.
• Integrate planning data with project controls, dashboards, and reporting systems to define resource requirements and workload forecasts.
• Facilitate coordination meetings, perform scenario and impact analysis, maintain planning standards, and improve planning methodologies, tools, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience in a similar planning or project controls role within the construction and/or marine industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a structured, data-driven mindset.
• Ability to independently develop planning approaches, identify critical-path risks, analyze large datasets, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, administrative, presentation, and data visualization skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment and work independently with minimal guidance.
• Ability to interpret complex architectural information, schedules, diagrams, and numerical data and present planning data, reports, and forecasts to senior management.
• Proficiency in Monday.com, MS Project, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, and Visio; strong working knowledge of digital reporting, dashboards, email, and internet-based tools.
• Fluent English and existing right to live and work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Understanding of engineering and shipbuilding workflows, including design and plan approval processes.
• Experience in a shipyard or marine/offshore environment.
• Primavera P6 experience.
• Additional language skills.
