Operations Manager (Fintech)

Early-stage fintech building a financial account that combines traditional finance and digital assets, with MiCA authorisation and supervision by Latvijas Banka.

What you will do

• Own operational problems end to end, from identifying issues and diagnosing root causes to implementing fixes.
• Work with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and other teams to resolve cross-functional problems.
• Use data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies across the business.
• Design, document, improve, and automate operational processes.
• Support new market, product, and launch initiatives by building their operational foundations.
• Help shape the operations function as the business scales.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in operations, business operations, strategy and operations, or a similar generalist problem-solving role.
• Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems without an existing playbook and identify root causes rather than symptoms.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, attention to detail, and sound judgement.
• Technical aptitude and confidence working with internal tools and data.
• Basic SQL knowledge or a strong willingness and ability to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Proactive, ownership-driven approach and comfort moving between different problems and teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a similar discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or crypto.
• SQL, API, or other technical-tool experience beyond a basic level.
• Experience launching a new process, product, or market from scratch.
• Previous experience working closely with Product or Engineering teams.
