Assistant Vice President, Private Credit

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with four days in-office each week in most locations.

Base salary: EUR 63,400.00–92,133.33 annually, plus a 20% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Cover a broad range of mid-sized corporations with weak credit profiles and support new rating assignments.
• Prepare timely, high-quality credit research, rating reports, industry commentary, and related research on middle-market credit topics.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, bankers, issuers, and other market participants.
• Lead rating committee discussions and contribute to refining processes and research products.
• Build and update related databases as required.

Requirements

• Four to five years of experience in credit analysis, corporate lending, or credit risk.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Excellent knowledge of credit analysis and capital markets, preferably with experience covering high-yield issuers and/or middle-market credits.
• Familiarity with legal and transaction documentation associated with corporate debt issuances.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and evaluate complex financial statements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate credit opinions and investment risks clearly.
• Proactive, self-starting, collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• CFA designation or progress toward completion.
