Head of Data and AI Platforms

Location: Solna, Göteborg, Jönköping, Linköping, Malmö or Stockholm, Sweden; alternative locations may be possible. The role includes travel to meet teams and business stakeholders.

What you will do

• Lead the development and operational delivery of hirify.global’s data, analytics, AI and automation platforms.
• Define and drive the strategy, roadmap and technology investments for Data and AI Platforms.
• Enable enterprise-wide adoption of analytics, automation and AI capabilities.
• Drive platform evolution across data engineering, analytics, machine learning, Generative AI and AI agents.
• Establish governance, guardrails and standards for secure, responsible and scalable use of data and AI.
• Lead, develop and engage employees and leaders while building relationships with stakeholders, vendors and partners.

Requirements

• Academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong people leadership and talent development skills.
• Extensive experience leading data, AI, analytics or automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms, analytics, AI and automation technologies across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Broad understanding of machine learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models, AI agents and intelligent automation.
• Experience establishing platform strategies, governance models and operating models for data and AI at scale.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI, AI governance, security and regulatory requirements.
• Experience driving data, AI, analytics or automation transformation initiatives in large organisations, including experience in large, complex and global organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
• Successful completion of security vetting is required; additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance.

• Experience in the defense industry or another highly regulated and security-sensitive industry.
