Head of Production Tech (Manufacturing IT)

Location: Solna, Göteborg, Jönköping, Linköping, Malmö or Stockholm, Sweden; alternative locations may be possible. The role requires some travel to meet teams and business stakeholders.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and engage employees and leaders within Production Tech.
• Lead the development of production technology capabilities, platforms, and industrial solutions.
• Define and drive the Production Tech strategy, roadmap, operating model, and technology adoption.
• Modernize production platforms and enable smart factory capabilities, factory automation, and industrial connectivity.
• Establish common standards, guardrails, governance, and ways of working while supporting local operational needs.
• Strengthen collaboration with manufacturing organizations, business stakeholders, vendors, partners, and technology leaders.

Requirements

• Academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong people leadership and talent development skills.
• Extensive experience leading production technology, manufacturing IT, or industrial digitalization environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial IT/OT, and production technology platforms.
• Experience driving digital manufacturing, factory automation, or industrial transformation initiatives.
• Experience with industrial connectivity, smart factory capabilities, or manufacturing platforms.
• Strong understanding of platform lifecycle management, standardization, and governance.
• Experience balancing central standards with local operational requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience from large, complex, and global organizations.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
• Successful completion of security vetting is required; additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance.
