Senior Electronics Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; onsite work four days per week

What you will do

• Design, develop, update, and integrate electronic systems for the Leksell Gamma Knife control system.
• Verify and troubleshoot electronics through hands-on laboratory measurements and testing.
• Develop solutions meeting technical, regulatory, EMC, and electrical safety requirements.
• Resolve product lifecycle challenges, including design improvements, product maintenance, component obsolescence, and complaint investigations.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, quality, service, supply chain, and external partners from development through production and service.
• Contribute to technical reviews, risk assessments, development planning, knowledge sharing, and future electronics solutions.

Requirements

• M.Sc. degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Engineering Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least five years of experience in electronics development, including electronic system design, debugging, verification, and hands-on laboratory work.
• Experience with analog and digital electronics, EMC, and electrical safety.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English.

• Experience with VHDL.
• Experience with power electronics.
• Experience developing medical devices or working in other regulated industries.
• Experience working with safety-critical products and systems.
