Graduate Quantity Surveyor (Infrastructure)

Location: Mansfield, United Kingdom; office-based with site visits and travel to project sites as required.

What you will do

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and cost estimates.
• Support cost analysis, feasibility studies, budgetary control, and commercial reporting.
• Assist with valuations of completed work, interim payments, final accounts, cost-to-complete forecasts, and cash-flow analyses.
• Visit project sites to verify progress, measure completed works, and assess contract variations.
• Assist with subcontractor accounts, payment applications, and variation assessments.
• Maintain accurate commercial records, correspondence, and contract documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a closely related construction or engineering discipline.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with measurement software or CAD.
