Senior Buyer - Electronics

Location: Eggelsberg, Upper Austria, Austria; onsite work model with 10 home office days per month

Minimum compensation: €3,888.53 gross monthly for a full-time position, according to the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, as of May 2026

What you will do

• Conduct inquiries, tenders, and market analyses, including price and contract negotiations within the serial production business.
• Manage quantity contracts, delivery schedules, and logistics agreements with international suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, price developments, and PCN/EOL topics.
• Coordinate production planning, order management, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure stable supply.
• Perform operational purchasing activities, maintain master data, and handle complaints and commercial deviations.
• Contribute to material availability and implementation of the global procurement strategy.

Requirements

• Completed commercial or technical education focused on Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
• Several years of experience in operational or strategic purchasing within an industrial environment acquiring electronics.
• Broad experience in price and contract negotiations with international suppliers.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Structured mindset with a good understanding of business processes and key performance indicators.
• Structured, organized, and solution-oriented working style.
• Clear communication skills, ability to take initiative, and team spirit.
• Business-professional communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
• German language skills.
