Specialist, Supplier Management

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day relationships, oversight and optimisation for multiple strategic suppliers.
• Build effective partnerships between suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive performance improvement.
• Implement supplier assurance activities, governance frameworks and controls, identifying improvements and delivering solutions.
• Optimise processes, reduce supplier-related operational and compliance risks, and deliver commercial and operational value.
• Oversee supplier onboarding, assurance and framework adherence against governance, policy and contractual requirements.
• Produce and use supplier performance reporting and MI to support decisions and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing suppliers, vendors or external service providers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and analytical capabilities, with the ability to use data and MI to drive improvements.
• Experience investigating, understanding and resolving supplier or operational incidents.

Nice to have

• Experience managing suppliers or external relationships within a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of supplier governance, assurance, risk management and control frameworks.
• Financial services experience.
