Senior Enterprise Security Architect (API Security)

Location: Remote in South Korea; listed location at POSCO Tower, Gangnam-gu, Seoul

What you will do

• Own the technical sales lifecycle, including customer discovery, solution design, and product demonstrations.
• Advise customers on API security strategies and serve as the subject matter expert for customers, internal teams, and partners.
• Translate complex technical concepts into use cases for technical engineers, non-technical audiences, and C-level executives.
• Gather customer requirements and collaborate with product management and engineering to align solutions with customer needs.
• Educate sales teams and stakeholders on API security trends, threats, and best practices.
• Present API security strategies and best practices at conferences, webinars, and customer workshops while supporting customer success.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or a related role in cybersecurity or API-related fields.
• Excellent knowledge of APIs, API gateways, web application firewalls, and API security practices.
• Proficiency in internet technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, or Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Korean.
• Good presentation skills for explaining complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
