TL;DR
Power BI & Python Web Developer (Data Visualization/Cloud): Building interactive Power BI dashboards, Python backend services, REST API integrations, and AWS Lambda data processing solutions with an accent on data visualization, data transformation, and end-to-end integration workflows. Focus on developing serverless functions, connecting diverse data sources, and applying CI/CD practices to ensure reliable deployments.

Location: 100% remote, with flexibility to work from anywhere; short-term contract based in Málaga

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports with strong usability, performance, and data visualization.
  • Connect Power BI to relational databases, REST APIs, files, and other data sources.
  • Develop Python web applications, backend services, and data processing solutions.
  • Design, develop, consume, and maintain REST APIs for application and data-source integration.
  • Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions for serverless processing, data transformation, and integration.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams, applying CI/CD and version control practices for reliable deployments.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and data visualization.
  • Experience in Python web development, including backend development and data processing.
  • Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda for developing and deploying serverless functions.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Proficiency with Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and software development workflows.
  • Advanced knowledge of Git and version control.
  • Understanding of software development best practices, code quality, and application integration.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with FastAPI or other Python web frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS services beyond Lambda, particularly for data integration and processing.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with automated testing and deployment pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and serverless application development.
